  We had a lovely dinner at Dalvay By the Sea. The service was wonderful and very prompt. The atmosphere was relaxing and after dinner we enjoyed a glass of wine by the fireplace. I highly recommend spending an evening there.

  Our dinner experience was both pleasant and relaxing. We received excellent service and and our meals were very palatable. Location of seating overlooked the lawn and water way. The ambiance was lovely. Absolutely impressive site. Worth the visit.

  We stayed here for a week in August 2015 and it was quite lovely. Keep in mind that this is a hotel in an older building, so the rooms are smaller than you'd get at a modern hotel. We also had to plan when we'd take our showers, as we noticed that the water temperature wasn't consistent during the mornings and evenings (around times when everyone else would be using the water in their rooms). Otherwise, the bed was comfy and the room (which was on the third floor) was very quiet.

  The restaurant at the hotel had seriously delicious food - probably the best food we had in PEI. I loved every single meal, and we tried as many different things as possible (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) - you honestly cannot go wrong with whatever you choose to eat. The waiters, waitresses, and bar tenders were all very nice and good at suggesting different menu options.

  Beautiful surroundings, good food, lots to do in the area. The hotel offers bike rentals and there is a paved path to bike along. Really nice beach with warm water.

  Absolutely wonderful food at Dalvay. The steak was cooked to perfection and the restaurant itself is full of character as an old summer home. Arrive slightly early and have a look around the old home and the fine art on the walls. The view from the dining room is also excellent.
